I'm in a tiny internet cafe in a tiny village called Tala which is right on the edge of the Bandhavgarh National Park. A few hours ago I was on the back of a jeep watching a tiger lurk in the bushes. The Safari featured this along with many sweet-looking monkeys with enormously long tails, white backs and black faces, breath-taking spotted deer, several peacocks, a few elephants, and (of course) some cows.
I'd love to go on about the wonders of nature and rural life, but there is a man sitting behind me watching me write for seemingly no reason at all. More on those topics to come...
